CLASSICAL MUSIC INITIATIVE PRODUCTION WORKSHOP
NOTES FROM OCTOBER 2004 WORKSHOP
The CMI’s first Production Workshop was held in October 20-22, 2004 at the headquarters of American Public Media, the national production and distribution division of Minnesota Public Radio. The intensive three-day gathering brought together 13 participants for a series of stimulating sessions with award-winning producers and renowned keynote speakers.
This workshop was designed to:
- · Provide training and encouragement in production and presentation
· Inspire producers and hosts to energize and develop new methods, styles and formats for classical music media
· Offer a collaborative atmosphere for the cultivation of new ideas
· Inspire and provoke!
